Outdoor Series: 2001
This series was taken on a Kodak DC265 digital camera (borrowed from college).  All pictures were taken outside (natural light is sooo great!).  Most of the models here are from my layout, and are not yet complete.  They still need final detailing and other finishing touches.

This is the Sheffield station, named for Sheffield Clarke who started me in the hobby.  The station is kind of run down- hmmm... typical for Amtrak. My favorite engine! in front of a partially burned down signal tower.  (I got that idea from Sellios of course...)  It was an Atlas kit to which I burned- this works better on wood than plastic (trust me!)  The supports were made of strip wood.   This tower started as a Kibri kit to which I reworked and scratchbuilt the upper level (with interior detail.)  Still have some work on the base to do....  (PS- that's my second favorite engine in the background.) This was yet another Kibri kit, also heavily reworked.  The addition is cut from Magnuson parts- with a shingled roof.  I have yet to detail this one though...

This is the Corner Transfer Company- a small odd shaped warehouse that fits in (gasp) a corner.  I modeled the loading dock roof after one on the F&SM.   More to come...
