All pictures were taken on a tour of the layout in the summer of 2000- my first visit.   Click on the thumbnails for larger pictures. All of these pictures were taken on a standard 35mm camera.
More great brick work.  The ground texture is also worth noting here. A neat building in Bedford Falls with a great roof. Back to the older part of the layout! The signal tower on the way from Fellsburg Yard to Mt. Allen. This is such a unique and amazing building.

A study in rooftops I.  Great ideas for any layout. Rooftop number 2.  I love the detailing - and the wet spot by the tank. A shot in Manchester- from the harbor to the opposite (station) side. Look!  There's a train on the layout! This started as a Pola building, I believe, and shows what you can do with plastic kits.

Right down in the action. Look at the roof on this building; I'd give it a few more years... at most. This is a great area.  The different elevations really add a lot. One of my favorites...  and a great Magnuson kitbash. Little sheds dot most of the F&SM and add contrast to the huge buildings.

A newer addition - Belverton station. Yet another amazing scene! From brick to greenery... A rare engine yard shot. This is a breathtaking shot.  Modeling doesn't get much better than this...
