All pictures were taken on a tour of the layout in the summer of 2000- my first visit.   Click on the thumbnails for larger pictures. All of these pictures were taken on a standard 35mm camera.
A close of of this great building reveals the best brick-work ever.  This is a great scene.  Very few modelers seem to be able to model water as realistically as George. My favorite set of buildings! Back into Franklin, this building has gotten plenty of press (look on the cover of MR.) This scene is great not only because of the amazing water cascading from the sewer pipe- but also for the great little bridge structure.

This is a new station on the newest area of the F&SM.  This scene is amazing- and no picture I can post will ever do it justice. George has been adding a lot of lighting- and here's a great example. Yet another simple- yet magnificent structure. Look out for that interior detail! Here's a shack that's really hidden!  I can't say if it's new or just really really hard to spot.

How's this for a closing picture?  Creativity at its best.  I love the stucco effect that George uses here. More of George's amazing water. An overview shot of Franklin. Notice the great lighting. A train passing by on the lower portion of Franklin. Every scene tells a story....
