New York: Saturday - Page 2

More sightseeing.  After our ferry was cancelled, we decided to walk over to the Brooklyn Bridge.  We (and a million other people) hoofed it over the bridge and came back.  There were some great views of the city from out in the middle.  Then it was back into the city and back aboard the bus.  It started to get dark, so I didn't take as many pictures. I love night shots though, so I had to get a couple of Rockefeller center, the Chrysler building and the Library.

Chris and I took our pic by one of the Lions in front of the library.  Being a huge movie buff, this was a sweet shot as it was the location used for the beginning of the original Ghostbusters movie.  They had some event going on at the time we meandered by, and there was a partial orchestra playing for the distinguished guests.  The sound the buildings arches produced was amazing.  No amplification.  Well, it was one great trip.

Going from the ferry terminal to the bridge entrance.

Big city views.  On the bridge.

More bridge shots.  The sky was amazing.

Cool architecture.  The small building is actually the subway entrance in battery Park.

Our Asian tour guide in full action.  The Buddhist temple was actually a Mormon one first.

Rockefeller Center and the Ghostbusters Library.

The partial orchestra at the Library and a few other night shots.
